Represented former shareholders of Appriva Medical, Inc., a start-up medical device company, in suit against the company’s acquiror for breach of contract and fraud arising out of defendant’s failure to develop plaintiff’s potentially life-saving stroke prevention device. $250 million jury verdict after nine-day trial in Delaware.
Coastal Industrial Partners LLC dba Wine Merchant v. John Gregory Lawson dba Valley Legend Wine (Napa County Superior Court; Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services (“JAMS”))
Represented wine exporter in breach of contract and conversion case against Napa Valley winemaker. Obtained writ of possession in Napa County Superior Court, followed by binding arbitration award, including punitive damages and attorney fees and costs, in JAMS arbitration proceeding before Hon. Robert B. Yonts, Jr. (Ret.).
